“Chip” Houzenga receives his BRC watch from Local Chairman Joel Renfro
On October 1st 2018, Dale “Chip” Houzenga called it a day on his 39 year and 7 month career at Union Pacific. He spent 11 of those years as a union officer, and he will be greatly missed by his coworkers at the Desoto Car Shop, along with the other members of Lodge 6078.
When Dale’s lovely wife Toni retires this February, they plan on moving to northern Illinois to be closer to their 3 granddaughters who live in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The members of Lodge 6078 wish them all of the luck on the next chapter of their lives.
