Obituary
Paul Richard Heister age 73 of DeSoto, MO entered into eternal rest on November 13, 2018 at Hillcrest Nursing Center in DeSoto, MO. Born on July 10, 1945 in Maquokketa, Iowa to his late parents Iliff and Edna (Walroff) Heister. Paul was retired from Union Pacific Railroad having been a Carmen Welder. He enjoyed farming and hunting and especially spending time with his family.
Survived by his loving family, sons Paul Heister of DeSoto, MO and Chad (Angela) Heister of Dubuque, IA; daughters Lisa Roethler of Albertlee, MN and Lorie (Trent) Dalton of Colorado Springs, CO; brothers Bill (Martha) Heister of Dubuque, IA, Morgan Heister of Springville, IA and Roger Heister of Maquoketa, IA; sisters Alberta Waller of Bernard, Ia, Shirley Gartman of Maquoketa, IA, Marie Klein of Dubuque, IA and Mary Melson of Delmar, IA; 9 grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents and brother Hubert Heister.
